Intergenerational Programmes

Creative Connections aims to enable older and younger residents to get to know each other through participatory arts projects. We have a track-record of creating excellent work with the over 50s, including productions toured to lunch/social clubs and sheltered housing venues, and intergenerational participatory projects. We have also created a number of films.

In April 2020 we launched Hackney Social Radio, a weekly FM radio programme which aimed to address digital isolation and provide a sense of connection and community during the pandemic. Our Production Club project involved older people in creating and broadcasting the shows.
